When I borrowed this book, I had no idea who Andrew Jenks was. At the end, I didn’t think I would ever forget it. The pictures and little anecdotes of his journey captivated me, although that feels like too big of an understatement. On his adventures, you get to know the people he worked with and who he’s met. You feel happy at his achievements and go through hardships with him. It’s a roller coaster ride of laughs and some tears. It’s hard to explain but this book offers you a peek into the real world of documentary film-making, what happens behind the cameras and the wonderful people you can meet.
